National Association of Racing Staff celebrates rebrand with App launch
The National Association of Racing Staff (NARS) is to celebrate its rebrand with the launch of a new website and an App designed to deliver a wide range of easy-to-access services to more than 6,500 members of the organisation formerly known as the National Association of Stable Staff.
The App which is available for IOS and Android will include information on the terms and conditions of their work in a racing yard as well as online polls, competitions and push notifications and can be downloaded via the new website at wwwnaors.co.uk.
Commenting on the rebrand, George McGrath Chief Executive of the National Association of Racing Staff said, “The changes are subtle but important. Our logo has been refreshed, but still reflects that the horse is at the centre of what concerns the vast majority of our members most.
“The title of the association has been amended very slightly in recognition of the increasing contribution racing staff make to the industry as a whole regardless of their level, grade or position which we feel is an important distinction to make. It also continues to promote that this is a skilled profession with a dedicated workforce.”
The launch of the NARS App brings the association into line with many major national and international sporting bodies and authorities, including the British Horseracing Authority, using Apps as an integral part of their communications strategy.
McGrath explains, “With a large, diverse membership spread all over the country it’s important that we have a method of communication that is quick, effective and easily accessible. The App will allow NARS to have a more proactive approach with our members and them with us. It reflects the society we live in and will appeal to our workforce which is primarily a younger demographic.”
NARS believes it will assist in raising its profile, the educational courses on offer and vitally gives instant answers to members, wherever and whenever it’s needed.
