Based at: Newmarket Racecourses
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours Monday to Friday, with raceday cover when required
Newmarket Racecourses are looking to appoint a Regional Sales Co-ordinator to provide sales co-ordination support for Hospitality and Conference & Events.
The Jockey Club are looking for a well-organised and proactive individual to join the team at Newmarket Racecourses to provide effective administration for all client events. The successful candidate will work with Hospitality and Conference & Events teams to ensure all event documentation is correct and up to date as well as taking event bookings.
The successful candidate will;
Have previous administration experience, ideally within event management
Be self-motivated and have the ability to work on their own initiative
Be comfortable liaising with clients both on the phone and in person
Have an excellent eye for detail and possess strong multi-tasking skills
Be IT literate with the ability to learn new systems such as EBMS
The successful candidate will be required to work evenings and weekends to support racing.
