Job Title: Regional Marketing Executive
Location: Cheltenham Racecourse
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent

An opportunity has arisen within The Jockey Club for a Regional Marketing Executive to assist the Marketing team in delivering exciting and innovative campaigns, across the South West Region.

Role summary

This is a demanding but exciting role that will see the incumbent help with the development and delivery of effective, focused marketing plans for the Region’s racing and non-racing related products.

In order to be successful in this role you will have previous experience of working within a Marketing role. You will be self-motivated, organised, work well under pressure and possess excellent communication and relationship management skills.

Other skills and experience required are, but not limited to:
• Creation and delivery of digital and traditional marketing plans across racing, sponsorship, hospitality, C&E and membership work streams to
• Develop and implement innovative online and offline products, promotions and campaigns that will encourage loyalty, repeat visits and increased spend per head
• To assist in raceday and event day marketing responsibilities across all South West Region’s racecourses
• Responsibility, management and delivery of hub racecourse owned channels including websites and social
• Utilise and maximise CRM Microsoft Dynamics and Dot Mailer systems to develop customer insight and data understanding to deliver strategically targeted email marketing campaigns
• To liaise with the Region’s creative and print agencies to ensure the design and production of consistent and accurate printed material as appropriate
• Work with our Digital Media agency to brief digital campaigns and understand their impact across PPC, Display, Paid Social and affiliates
• Regularly track, measure and analyse activity and recommend improvements, including reports on web traffic, CTR, all analytics on ecomms and campaigns etc
• Ensure all communications are accurate, on brand, and consistent with Brand Guidelines

Ideally the successful candidate will be CIM/IDM qualified or have an equivalent marketing qualification.

Travel within the South West Region be required so it is essential that the successful candidate holds a full driving licence and has access to a vehicle. This role will also involve working some evenings and weekends.
