An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Manager to be part of our dynamic team. As a talented manager you will be an active and visible member of the senior management team at Lingfield Park while coaching and managing the HR officer. You will be able to demonstrate strong communication skills along with the ability to lead and deliver HR initiatives that relate to recruitment, training, reward and employee engagement across the business.

Key responsibilities for the role will include:

To be a leading senior manager within the business, driving standards, customer service and performance
Be involved with team projects and lead where required
Utilising the ARC Group HR Support, you will manage the recruitment process for the resort, including advert compilation, selection, interviews and appointment
To support the Staffing Manager, ensuring that appropriate paperwork is in place for all casual workers in order to meet legislative requirements and maintain casual worker status
To develop and lead employee welfare initiatives across the business
To develop and maintain relationships with the wider HR team and attend all HR team training and forums
Monitor sickness and absence levels and take action as necessary
Manage the information held and personnel files to ensure it is updated in a timely and accurate manner and complies with any legal or data protection policies
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

Ideally be level 7 CIPD qualified or have the equivalent experience
Have the ability to interact professionally with senior stakeholders and managers on a range of complex HR matters
Have previously worked in a similar position in a fast-paced hospitality or leisure environment
Be a hand-on HR generalist
Exceptional communication
Excellent customer service
Able to work individually and as part of a Team
