Arena Racing Company (ARC) is looking for a Group Financial Controller who will report to the Finance Director working from our Head Office in Millbank, London. The successful candidate will have strong experience in a similar role with transferable skills to deliver on a variety of tasks.
Some of the Key Responsibilities include
Produce reports across the group to include P&L consolidation, finance reporting to support KPI data and group performance whilst maximising the reporting integration efficiency to the account system
Produce the divisional Group balance sheet Consolidation
Undertake Balance Sheet reviews on a rolling basis with the Group Racing Division FC and Group Finance Accountant
Oversee Central/Departmental management reporting and Balance Sheet reconciliations
Produce Group VAT return coordinating the submission of the monthly return electronically
Review Raceday Flash reports for accuracy
Banking and cashflow management responsibility to include payment authorisations, bank signatory, production and monitoring of cashflow projections
Minimum of 2 years post-graduation experience
Commercially astute, articulate, technically strong, dynamic, insightful, influential leader and experience of leading both strategic and operational teams
Strong IT, analytic and modelling skills
Attention to detail
High energy and self-motivated with an enquiring mind with a passion for excellence and innovation in pursuit of business growth and success
Ability to influence at all levels
Organised, systematic and process driven
Ability to handle high pressure and critical decision making
