HEROS Education comprises a committed team whose aim it is to help a whole range of learners fulfill their potential and find a future career in the equine industry. HEROS Education is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Tutor able to deliver both English and Maths to learners from Entry Level to Level 2.
Candidates must have experience in the delivery of Maths and/or English to Level 2/GCSE Equivalent. Candidates with experience of delivering apprenticeships or traineeships are desirable. A teaching qualification is desirable with a specialism in Maths or English preferred.
You will be responsible for creating a meaningful learning journey using a variety of teaching methods including group teaching, on-line activities and applied activities with relevance to their Equine studies; effectively managing learners’ individual learning plans and ensuring learners achieve their highest potential.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable to work with or around horses and will be able to utilise the onsite equine facilities to support the curriculum and engage learners.
Within this role you would be working with learners from ages 14 years and upwards.
We would ideally like candidates to work five days a week, Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 12:30 but would be prepared to be flexible for the right candidate.
In line with our recruitment and safeguarding policies all candidates should be prepared to provide two professional references, undergo a DBS check and be able to present evidence of their qualifications.
