Experienced Eventing or Racing Groom (Melrose, Scotland)

Experienced groom/rider wanted to be part of a small dedicated team. We pre-train young NH racehorses and school and compete Event horses. Our retired racehorses are trained towards an Eventing or RoR career

We need a groom/rider to look after our much loved horses. Some local riding club or RoR competing available if keen.

Enjoy all yard duties;

• Handle and help produce our young horses
• Capable of hacking, lungeing, plaiting, clipping, vet treatment etc.
• Well schooled horses
• Our yard is in beautiful countryside, within easy reach of Edinburgh by train. The riding is on our own land and mostly off road

Must enjoy working as part of a team. Accommodation available in newly built lodge.
