Job Title: Corporate Fundraising & Events Manager – Southern Region

Racing Welfare is a national charity delivering a wide range of support services to the British horseracing industry’s workforce. We are looking for a highly motivated and talented Corporate Fundraising & Events Manager to join our small, close-knit fundraising and communications team, covering our Southern Region.

The post holder will manage and develop the fundraising events and corporate partnerships of the charity in their region to ensure success in terms of raising funds and profile. They will also manage events in collaboration with the charity’s partner organization’s and assist with activities within the fundraising team to ensure the objectives of the department are achieved.

In addition to the above the successful candidate will;

• Be required to attend committee meetings and represent the Charity at fundraising events, which will require some evening and weekend commitments and travel across the UK
• Be responsible for ensuring that all external communications material including; printing, images, logos, web-based media, recorded messages and office correspondence is of the highest standard and reflects Racing Welfare’s vision and values
• Work with the Head of Fundraising to prepare annual budgets for fundraising activities, monitoring their progress and successes
• Submit post-event reports to the Head of Fundraising, including final balance sheets, feedback and an evaluation
To be successful in this role you will need excellent organisational and financial skills to deliver events within agreed budgets. You will also need to be creative and proactive, with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
