Stud Secretaries and Stud Administration Course

The ideal course if you want to work in Stud Administration

The Stud Secretaries’ and Stud Administration Course has been developed for secretaries new to the Thoroughbred breeding industry or anyone wishing to work in the role.

The course runs over 5 days with speakers from organisations such as the British Horseracing Authority, Weatherbys, and the Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association, covering a wide range of topics and giving an overview of all the areas of work a Stud Secretary would encounter.

                              

 

The 2021 Stud Administration course will be held at The National Stud from Tuesday 7th to Thursday 9th September.

The programme comprises of lectures from industry experts, including the bloodstock sales team at Tattersall’s, The National Stud’s Nominations Manager and Stud Office Manager, and veterinary professionals from Newmarket Equine Hospital and Rossdales.

The course will provide attendees with the fundamental skills necessary for working in a stud administration role. Delegates will also gain background industry knowledge relating to marketing, transportation, bloodstock sales, mare and foal registrations, administration procedures and veterinary practices.
