AMATEUR RIDER DEVELOPMENT COURSE

THIS COURSE IS DESIGNED FOR AMATEUR JOCKEYS WHO WOULD LIKE TO DEVELOP AND IMPROVE THEIR RACE RIDING TECHNIQUE

It’s a week long residential course designed to help current riders who hold either their Category A Amateur Riders permit or Point to Point Licence, develop their skills as a rider, and get some professional tuition. The course includes:

Riding
Schooling sessions / stalls sessions
Video analysis
Simulator training, pushing technique and correct use of the whip
Fitness assessment and advice
Diet and nutrition advice
Fall training
Sports psychology
