Overview of British Racing One Day Seminar dates confirmed

The British Horseracing Authority has confirmed dates for the 2012 Overview of British Racing Seminars as follows:

11th April - Weatherbys in Wellingborough, Northants

24th July - Northern Racing College in Doncaster, Yorkshire

29th November - British Racing School, Newmarket

These informative days provide a general introduction to how racing operates including an explanation of governance, British Horseracing Authority regulation, the bookmaking industry, the breeding industry, administration by Weatherbys, the role of racecourses and the media. 

The seminars are perfect for those new to the industry and want to learn about the structure of the industry and how the organisations work to together to make racing happen.  It will help increase your confidence by having a better understanding of the racing industry and will make you more effective in your role.

They are also suitable for those with a passion for horseracing and would simply like to understand more about the structure of the industry or for those planning a career in racing and need a head start.
