Careersinracing promotes new racing industry qualifications

The BHA has teamed up with the British Horseracing Education and Standards Trust to promote two new unique qualifications, An Introduction to the Horseracing Industry andThe Structure of the Horseracing Industry. If you want to be more effective in your role by improving your knowledge, enhance your awareness of the wider industry and the people you are working with and want to increase your confidence, these qualifications are for you.

These short industry acknowledged qualifications, are externally recognised and a must for anyone who: 

• Currently works in racing and would like to understand more about the industry
• Is planning a career in racing and needs ahead start
• Is passionate about racing and wants to know more about its structure

Awarded by BHEST, the training can be delivered in two ways: 

• the first involves attending a seminar consisting of presentations and lectures on the content of the syllabus, followed by an invigilated test (can be an Overview of British Racing one-day seminar).
• the second involves self supported study from workbooks provided and an invigilated test.
