2010 is a record year for the British Horseracing Authority Graduate Programme with 20 placements and 19 individual sponsors.
The programme kicked off on Monday 28th June with a 2 week induction course at the British Racing School in Newmarket. The initial two week course consists of a wide range of speakers, field trips, personal development and networking opportunities and shows how the various aspects of the sport work together. It gives an insight into many of the organisations and functions within the industry. Graduates then go on to work placements with a variety of industry stakeholders.
