Horseracing has been a major part of the British Sporting scene for centuries, and with 60 racecourses and just under 500 trainers spread throughout England, Scotland and Wales it makes a huge impact on its surrounding communities.

The industry has been increasingly aware of the effect it has and has recently carried out a study to demonstrate the vast range of activities.  The Racing Together report available on the British Horseracing Authority website gives more details.

We are also supporting many activities with young people, from our education programmes, to work with the Princes Trust.  Grassroots work is forming an increasingly important part of the industries focus.
