The industry has two dedicated racing schools that offer fantastic training - The British Racing School based in Newmarket and the Northern Racing College based in Doncaster. They offer training from apprenticeships right up to management courses for racehorse trainers.
The National Stud also has specialist training for those interested in working in the stud world, and Haddon Training and Warwickshire College offer more work based learning opportunities.
If you are currently at university you might be interested in the British Horseracing Authority's Graduate Development Programme.
If you are new to the industry or simply want to learn more about racing, the BHA's Overview of British Racing Seminar will be a good starting point. You can even study for one of the new industry qualifications specifically designed for horseracing.
