Apprentice Continuation Course (Flat)

This course is designed to build on the skills you learnt on the Licence Course and offers a more in-depth look at your riding skills, fitness and wellbeing. 

Run over four days this training course covers areas such as the rules of racing (including a mock Steward's enquiry) and it prepares you for other aspects of a Jockey's life.  It has lectures on topics such as working with agents, managing your finances, maintaining professionalism and how to develop your career when you retire from riding professionally in races.
